Little Puskas and Friends

Children’s animated series
Role: Director | Art Director
Production: Film Positive

As director and art director, my goal was to bring the childhood of legendary football player Ferenc Puskás (Öcsi) to life in a playful, fictional animated series for children.
Each story combines real anecdotes, folklore, and imaginative storytelling to explore Öcsi’s adventures, highlighting timeless values like friendship, helpfulness, determination, and family. The series invites children to step into Öcsi’s world, where curiosity, courage, and joy turn everyday moments into lasting adventures.

The visual style was inspired by the illustrations of Tamás Mayer from the picture books about the young Puskás.
My goal was to create an animated world with a nostalgic tone while adapting it to a modern, dynamic cartoon style for children aged 5–8. In the character design, I focused on creating relatable, lovable characters often inspired by real-life people.

As art director and background designer, I created environment designs and reference backgrounds that defined the locations and the visual atmosphere of the series.
